We started because too many sites get launched and then abandoned
ScintillaWeb began in 2023 building sites for local businesses that had been sold a website and left with it. Beautiful enough, and completely invisible. Nobody owned what happened after launch.
The marketing side followed quickly, because clients kept asking the same question: who is going to bring traffic to the thing we just paid for? Answering that ourselves turned out to be the whole business.
We run as one senior team rather than a set of departments. Strategy, development, search and paid sit with the same people, so nothing is lost in a handover between a designer, a developer and an account executive who have never spoken. For motion design, long-form copy or additional development capacity we bring in specialists we have worked with for years, always under our direction and to our standard.
That structure puts a deliberate ceiling on how many projects run at once, and we hold it. The usual way to absorb more work is to add junior staff and place an account manager between the client and the people doing the work. We would rather take on fewer clients and keep senior attention on each one.

Copy before design
We write the argument first and design around it. Pouring words into a finished layout is how pages end up looking good and converting badly.
You own everything
Code, hosting, domain and CMS logins sit in your accounts from day one. If you leave, nothing breaks and nothing is held hostage.
One number, agreed up front
We settle on the metric that defines success before we start, and report against it monthly. Impressions and rankings are diagnostics, not results.
We say no
If a rebuild will not fix what is actually broken, we say so on the first call and point you elsewhere. A bad-fit project costs us more than the fee is worth.
Different sizes, same requirement
A local clinic and a mid-market manufacturer need very different websites, but they are asking the same thing: make the phone ring, and tell me where the enquiries came from.
We work across WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and Webflow, and we are as comfortable migrating a nine-year-old corporate site as building a five-page local one.
